Wood Types

The type of wood you buy for flooring generally comes down to aesthetics, durability, usage and client preferences.

As experienced wood flooring stockists, we have found that in 90 per cent of cases clients choose solid oak flooring because it provides more options and a wide range of stains and finishes.

However, in addition to this, here at Wood floors & Accessories we can source pretty much any timber you require for solid wood flooring.

To make your job as easy as possible for you and your customer, we also offer a bespoke service to complement original flooring. Just bring the timber you need to be matched to our London premises. We will identify the wood, source it, then mill the timber to your customers’ exact requirements.

We have been operating as wood flooring stockists in London, Essex and beyond for well over a decade and sell a wide range of hardwoods.

Here are some of the types of timber we supply, but do contact us if you need any other wood flooring products not listed here as we can order it for you.
